Having a little faith

I’ve deleted and/or ‘filed’ way more articles than I’ve published over the three months since I bothered to sort this blog thing out. I’m guessing that’s mostly because I’m incredibly insecure, and never happy with anything. But to some degree, it’s because I forgot who I was writing for.

Getting too caught up in an audience means worrying too much about what I’m writing about, and how I’m writing it. I’m not gonna get all LiveJournal on you, but I do need to stop caring and just write. That was, after all, the primary purpose of this damn thing.

So I’m gonna try and have a little faith in my ability to string words together, and get something out the door on some sort of regular schedule, even if nobody else cares. Given that analytics suggests there is no you anyway, who really gives a shit?!
